Travelling to China for care

Travelling to China for a checkup or scan — planned before you fly.

If you are coming from abroad, the planning matters as much as the visit. We confirm what is suitable, what it costs and how the days will run before you book your flight.

Ask for a doctor-reviewed quote

Before you travel: five steps

  1. Tell us what you need — the checkup or scan you are considering, your dates and where you are travelling from.
  2. Doctor review — a doctor reviews any previous reports you choose to share and advises whether the visit is suitable. This plans your visit; it is not a remote diagnosis.
  3. Written plan and quote — the schedule, what is included, what is not, and the cancellation rules.
  4. Entry and accommodation — entry rules depend on your passport. China has expanded visa-free entry for many countries, but rules change: check the National Immigration Administration and your nearest Chinese embassy. We can confirm your appointment in writing for your travel plans, and suggest places to stay nearby.
  5. Arrival — we send directions from the airport or border crossing.

After you return home

  • Your report is explained by a doctor before you leave where possible, and delivered to you afterwards.
  • We send follow-up reminders and help you share results with your own doctor.
  • Cross-border online consultations are not offered at this stage.

What we do not arrange

We do not handle emergencies, surgery or complex treatment. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, seek emergency care where you are.

Still being confirmed

We are confirming with our facilities whether we can issue appointment letters for visa purposes, how reports and images are delivered overseas, and which reports are available in English. Ask us and we will confirm what applies to your visit.

FAQ

Before you ask

Do I need a visa to come to China for a checkup?

It depends on your passport. China has expanded visa-free entry for many countries, but the rules change, so check the National Immigration Administration and your nearest Chinese embassy. We can confirm your appointment in writing for your travel plans.

Why does a doctor review my request before MRI, CT or endoscopy?

To make sure the test is suitable and safe for you and that you prepare correctly. The review is about planning your visit; it is not a remote diagnosis.

Can a doctor diagnose me online before I come?

No. We do not provide remote diagnosis or online prescriptions. A doctor may review information you choose to share to plan your visit, but diagnosis happens in person.

What language is the report in?

We are confirming which reports are available in English or Traditional Chinese for each service. Your quote states the report language before you book, and a doctor explains the results to you either way.

Can I take my MRI or CT images home?

We confirm how you receive your images (for example on disc or digitally) with your quote, so you can share them with your own doctor.

Do you arrange surgery or complex treatment?

Not at this stage. We focus on checkups, imaging, endoscopy, specialist consultations and TCM. If a test finds something that needs treatment, we help you plan the next step.
