Gastroscopy & Colonoscopy
We arrange gastroscopy and colonoscopy at Yunshan Medical Group in Shenzhen after a doctor reviews your request. Before you book, we explain in writing the sedation options, how to prepare, whether someone must accompany you home, and when biopsy results (if any) are ready. Prices are quoted after the review.

How the day works
A doctor reviews your request and confirms the procedure is suitable.
You receive written preparation instructions, including diet and bowel preparation where needed.
On the day, your coordinator meets you and explains each step.
After the procedure, the doctor explains the findings; any biopsy results follow later.
When this may not be suitable
- Sedation may require someone to accompany you home. We confirm the rule for your booking in writing.
- Emergencies such as bleeding or severe abdominal pain. Call 120 in mainland China or 999 in Hong Kong.

Questions about this service
Why does a doctor review my request before MRI, CT or endoscopy?
To make sure the test is suitable and safe for you and that you prepare correctly. The review is about planning your visit; it is not a remote diagnosis.
Do I need someone with me for a sedated endoscopy?
Often yes — after sedation you may need an adult to accompany you home. We confirm the rule for your booking in writing before you confirm.
When will I get my results?
It depends on the tests. Your quote lists when each result is expected and how it is delivered; some results are ready the same day and others, such as biopsies, take longer.
Can a doctor diagnose me online before I come?
No. We do not provide remote diagnosis or online prescriptions. A doctor may review information you choose to share to plan your visit, but diagnosis happens in person.
