What a day in Shenzhen looks like

  1. Before you go: you tell us what you need. We send a written plan, an all-in quote, the address and what to bring.
  2. Crossing the border: you bring your Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit) or the entry document for your passport. We send directions from your crossing point.
  3. At the clinic: your coordinator meets you, helps with registration and stays with you through the visit.
  4. Your results: a doctor explains your report. If anything needs follow-up, we help you plan it — in Shenzhen or with your doctor in Hong Kong.

Clear prices, no surprises

  • You get a written all-in quote before you book.
  • Nothing is added without your written consent. If a doctor recommends an extra test on the day, you see the reason and the price first.
  • We are confirming standard prices with each facility and will publish them on each service page.

Things we are still confirming

We would rather tell you what we do not know yet than guess. These are being confirmed with our facilities and will be published here:

  • Measured travel times from Futian Port, Lok Ma Chau and Shenzhen Bay Port
  • Which reports are available in Traditional Chinese or English, and how long they take
  • Which payment methods you can use, including Hong Kong e-wallets
  • Whether your Hong Kong doctor can use the report and images directly

Ask us about any of these for your visit — we will confirm in writing.

FAQ

Before you ask

I live in Hong Kong. What do I need to cross the border?

Chinese citizens resident in Hong Kong use their Mainland Travel Permit (Home Return Permit). Other Hong Kong residents should check the entry rules for their passport. Bring the same document to register at the facility.

Will I be asked to pay for extra tests on the day?

No test is added without your written consent. If a doctor recommends something extra on the day, you see the reason and the price first and decide whether to go ahead.

What language is the report in?

We are confirming which reports are available in English or Traditional Chinese for each service. Your quote states the report language before you book, and a doctor explains the results to you either way.

How do I get to the clinic from Hong Kong or the airport?

Your coordinator sends directions from your crossing point or airport with your booking. We are measuring travel times from Futian Port, Lok Ma Chau, Shenzhen Bay Port and Bao'an Airport and will publish them on the Locations page.

How do I pay?

You pay the facility according to your written quote. Accepted methods — such as international cards, Alipay or WeChat Pay linked to a foreign card, or cash — are confirmed in your quote.

Can I use my international health insurance?

Possibly. Direct billing depends on your insurer, plan, facility and service, so we check it case by case. Send us your insurer's name; until direct billing is confirmed, plan to pay and claim reimbursement.

Tell us what you need

A short form or a message is enough. We reply with next steps and a written quote — no obligation.
